 Donald M. Buti II is a man of faith, financial services executive, commercial lending professional, entrepreneur, and relationship-builder with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses and individuals navigate complex financing decisions. Throughout his career, he has built divisions from the ground up, launched companies, led teams, and structured lending solutions across both residential and commercial markets.

Donald currently serves as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Reginal Manager with Investor Funding Corp., specializing in commercial real estate, multifamily investments, bridge financing, construction loans, mixed-use developments, and investment property lending. He enjoys the challenge of structuring creative financing solutions and helping clients turn opportunities into long-term success.

Prior to this role, Donald served as Senior Vice President and Producing Mortgage Division Leader at Mountain View Bank of Commerce, where he created the bank’s residential lending division from scratch. From hiring and training to compliance, operations, and revenue generation, he built the framework that allowed the division to grow and thrive.

Donald’s entrepreneurial roots run deep. As Co-Founder and President of Wells Capital Inc., he helped build a lending company from the ground up, overseeing everything from strategy and operations to sales, marketing, finance, recruiting, and compliance. He believes there is no better education than building something yourself and no better motivation than having skin in the game.

Over the years, Donald has worked with respected financial institutions including Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan Chase. His background gives him a unique blend of executive leadership, lending expertise, and practical business experience.

Donald’s professional philosophy centers around three qualities he believes matter most: grit, emotional intelligence, and authentic humility. He believes business is ultimately about people, earning trust, solving problems, and building relationships that last longer than the transaction itself.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University and has maintained numerous professional licenses throughout his career, including FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, life insurance licensing, and NMLS licensing.

Outside of work, Donald enjoys wine collecting, gourmet cooking, and the occasional search for the perfect restaurant hidden in plain sight. He appreciates great conversation, thoughtful business ideas, and the balance between professional ambition and personal enjoyment. He also values giving back to the community and has supported organizations including Food Bank of the Rockies, Boulder County CareConnect, Project Angel Heart, Real Colorado Youth Soccer, and the Tim Tebow Foundation.
